Templates are made out of 3/16 steel. Comes in all the same sizes as the floating shelf brackets.

Router bits for this are sold separately right here or in a full kit along with drill templates and bits here.

Use a 3/4 inch template type router bit.

When choosing a router template, simply select the router that matches your bracket length and backplate size.
