Floating Shelf - Sheppard Brackets - 3/4"
This medium-duty floating shelf bracket has a 3/4" tall backplate and 1/2” diameter rods, which make it perfect to float thinner shelving from 1 1/8” to 1 1/2 inch thick.
 
These, like all floating shelf brackets, are best mounted to studs over Sheetrock. They are designed and manufactured more for light weight decorative purposes. However, these small brackets deliver a lot of strength in comparison to other floating shelf brackets of similar size. They hold 30 lbs per stud they are attached to. 

The 5” rod length is perfect for floating shelf depths 6”-10” and the 7” rod length will work for 8”-12” shelf depths.
